Located in the Bologna hills (Colli Bolognesi DOC Area) at an altitude of almost 600 feet and surrounded by a pristine environment, the Vigneto San Vito has been producing quality wine for over 30 years.

In 2005, the firm was taken over by a thirty-year-old couple with a passion for wine, Federico Orsi and Carola Pallavicino.  They enthusiastically launched an ambitious project aimed at upgrading the district’s wines.  The objective to reach new niche markets focused on high quality wines has been obtained through wine enthusiastic young staff, well known consultants, a new wine cellar project, new ways of wine communication and a marketing campaign to explain the continous wine quality increases.

This single-vineyard designated wine spends more time in oak barrels, giving it a characteristic complex flavor. This features the delicious and drinkable pignoletto grape, but you can expect more depth and character because of the French oak.
